PHILOSOPHY
Like the moon that reflects the brilliance of the sun, a space reflects the life of those who inhabit it. At La Luna, our goal is to create an inspiring environment that reflects our clients' needs and desires. Without the sun, the moon's magnificence would not be possible. Without light and life, architecture would be void and dull. We strive to capture and embody the needs of our clients in our architecture, while at the same time, responding carefully to our natural world. We provide an enlightened and ethical work environment as a means to achieve our core value of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
VAL•UE: (-noun) relative worth, merit or importance.
At La Luna, we believe there is VALUE in our work and that you are important. We believe that the created world, both natural and fabricated, contain significant worth. We want to provide you with an exceptional experience of the “architectural” process; the art of combing art and function, intermingling ideas and inspirations, and achieving a client and personal satisfaction.
OUR TEAM
Catherine M. Flores- Principal Architect
I received my Bachelor's of Architecture from the New Jersey School of Architecture at NJIT and graduated at the top of my class in 2004. Immediately upon returning from my last semester in college as a study abroad student in Italy, I headed across the country to work in the Los Angeles area within the architecture profession.
In 2008, my husband and I decided to move to New Jersey. By then, I had completed the Intern Development Program, become LEED Certified, obtained my license to practice as a registered architect, and given birth to our first child. Overall, the 2000's have been full of accomplishments to say the least.
I believe that my professional career is an extension of my personal life. I believe that we need values to live by. I have had some great opportunities come to me in my life, including working for some great architects and having very good mentors. I believe I am blessed to be able to share my gifts and talents with others.
